When you see the "Multi Format" notation, the scene is provided in BOTH mp4 and wmv video formats. You will be provided download links for both formats, and then you may download the format you prefer, or both if you want.
NOTE: MP4 files are quicker to download since they are 30-50% smaller in filesize than WMV versions. Both formats provide comparable visual and audio quality.
MP4 (MPEG 4 Apple Encoded Video)
This format is a specially encoded file format intended for viewing the video in iTunes and iPod. These files are encoded using an Apple H264 video codec that can be viewed using Apple Quicktime version 7 or later, iTunes or iPod. Depending on your operating system and system configuration, you "might" be able to view this file format with your Windows Media Player or RealPlayer, but it depends on your configuration. MP4 file sizes are 30-50% smaller than WMV versions, so they are quicker to download. These files are intended for the following systems:
